Established in 2024, Highland Wild is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Northeast Tennessee dedicated to (re)greening urban and residential spaces with native and edible plants.
Our mission is to encourage local, sustainable food production at the individual and community level.
We are committed to supporting pollinators, enhancing local biodiversity, and improving healthy ecosystems.

"May" and "June," our two Nigerian Dwarf goats. They are a miniature breed of dairy goat, originating in West Africa and developed in the United States.

We maintain a small flock of heritage chickens, including Easter Eggers, Olive Eggers, French Black Copper Marans, and Rhode Island Reds.

The Highland Wild learning garden has a small apiary, with thriving honeybees.

Currently, there are seven large raised beds for produce (mostly vegetables), and 11 small beds dedicated to herbs and specialty items. All organic.
